2022 Thriving in the Wilderness Leadership Summit
Presented by the Lexington Pastors, the Board of Ordained Ministry, and Cabinet.
Revs Jorge Acevedo and Wes Olds will be coming home to Kentucky, and bringing some of the lessons they have learned to share with the Pastors and leaders of our Conference.
On May 10, the training will be specifically geared to larger churches and their unique needs and challenges. Topics will include Teams, Focus and Strategies, and Fresh Expressions in large churches.
On May 11, the summit will be open for all clergy leaders across our conference. The content has been developed to increase our vitality while living in the midst of a wildness, and wilderness, that seminary couldn’t have trained for. Topics will include: vital and healthy teams, vital contexts, focus, strategies, and taking time to get better.
While the conference will be held in Lexington at Southern Hills, day 2 will be a Multi-platform event. Feel free to join us in person or through live stream. We highly encourage “Watch Party” gatherings of churches in your city. You’ll be able to join without driving, and meet up with
colleagues in your city and county to discuss and collaborate.
Registration Deadline is May 4th!
(Attendance and registration required for CEU credits)
There is no cost to attend this summit. The summit will be on May 10th & 11th from 9am - 4pm each day. Lunch is not provided, but there will be box lunches on-site for purchase (approximately $15 per lunch).
